We have one man's and one woman's comfort bikes and the different length center main clamps of the rack are perfectly suited to these differences in bike design. The rack is very easy to insert and lock into our trailer hitch and the bikes are extremely easy to load requiring only a minimal lift and support to set and lock them into the rack. Definitely truth in advertising!

Bought on Amazon. Best price anywhere by far. Goes together in a snap and what I really like is how it folds up for easy storage. I can take it off the hitch and stow it in the vehicle when I am off riding. I like the way it supports the bike from below as opposed to having bikes hanging by their frames. Well thought out design, and even the locking (clevis pins) are attached by a small cable to keep from loosing them. Swagman sells an extension to add two more bikes if you need it.... Fantastic product!! We had a Yakima Big Horn for years. My husband had always struggled to load our bikes. When I got a new woman's bike this year, the frame made it even harder to load my bike. I originally started searching for a conversion bar. We didn't feel comfortable about putting all the weight on the seat post.
I began to research some platform styles and found this type. After much research, I felt that this was the biggest bang for the buck. I wanted something that even I could load and not have to depend on him all the time. Pro's
  • 1. Color matched my dash lights VERY well, with separate settings for the display and the buttons, including totally different setups for night and day. Display is fairly customizeable, as well, in addition to choosing Negative and Positive backlighting.
  • 2. Great internal equalizer provides 3 different adustments for each of at least 3 frequencies in each of the 3 broad ranges (High, Mid, Low) -- making it more like a 9 or 10 band equalizer. Can finetune it to your speakers and the car's acoustics
  • 3. Strong internal amp is certainly not "over-rated" at 20 watts -- it will produce 20 watts with little noticeable distortion.
  • 4. Adjustable input volume for each input source(Aux, USB, CD, etc) other than the Radio, so you can get the same output volume from each source withour jarring (and possibly harmful to your ears or speakers) volume changes when switching sources.
  • 5. Clean, great sound, though I didn't try it with just the stock speakers. With all the adjustments, you can tailor it to the type of music you typically listen to.
  • 6. Attractive, without being flashy. Looks almost stock... hopefully won't attract the attention of theives!

Con's
Glossy faceplate and buttons show fingerprints and dust, and makes it look "less stock" than it would if it had a textured finish. Otherwise, matches stock dash very well. At night, with the colors adjusted and stored via setup, it looks like it came from the factory instead of having a multi-colored light show

I've had this unit installed for a couple of weeks. I also purchased accessories like the steering wheel control interface and the external JVCHD300 (for HD Radio) add on. There are a lot of great things to say about this unit. First it's great to have the large control knob located on the left hand side of the unit. One of my main reasons for not choosing a comparable double din head unit offered by Kenwood . By the way, my car is a Lincoln LS and according to Crutchfield my car would not fit a double din radio....

After many months of researching to find the best mix is price and connectivity, I finally decided on this unit. Just had it installed this morning into my wife's Lexus IS-300 and I am blown away. I have made several test phone calls with an iphone and every person says it sounds great. The bluetooth audio streaming is exactly what I was expecting and sounds fantastic.

It looks great. It sounds great. It has excellent connectivity options with two USB ports, 1/8th inch aux in, and bluetooth (which uses one of the USB ports).

Chicco Keyfit 30 Infant Car Seat - If you are looking for a base that is SUPER easy to take in and out of your car- THIS IS THE SET TO BUY! The pattern is perfect, and is constantly getting compliments. The button to release the seat from the base is in an awkward position. The small size makes this one versatile enough, but the baby has not had to give up any comforts found in bulkier units. In fact, the compact design allows for a snug "pocket" to ensure he is extra secure and safe. The baby loves to sleep in the unit. 

The seat has a slightly curved base and will rock when pushed back and forth; this is a great feature when visiting other peoples' houses who do not have a chair/swing for the baby. Infant seems completely content sitting in it for extended periods. The base of the car seat itself has a small compartment for extra items (always a plus). The visor is rigid, yet folds away easily with one hand. Getting the car seat in and out of our 2-door vehicle could not be simpler; the button is right in front on the base where the position of your hand would be naturally.


Advantage of Chicco Keyfit 30 Infant Car Seat

  • 1. As other reviewers note, it is incredibly easy to use. The latch system is simple and the tightening mechanism for the base is very user-friendly. Just kneeled on the base when it was in place and just pulled up on the strap to secure it.
  • 2. It is also very easy to take the baby in and out of the car seat. The straps loosen quickly and without much effort by pressing the button in front (it is depressed so the baby can't accidentally hit it and loosen the straps). This is a world of difference from our Baby Trend seat where we would end up contorting our daughter's arm to try to get them in the straps.
  • 3. The infant head support is really useful as our daughter has a small head and with the other seat we were using rolled up blankets on the sides of her head.
  • 4. It is a very reasonable weight for carrying.

After extensive research on lots and lots and lots of websites, for our daughter, we went with the Chicco Keyfit 30 infant car seat. I'm not sure if there's a new model by now, but we LOVED it and are now using it for her little brother, too. At the time, it was rated as the easiest to use infant car seat by Consumer Reports and got great reviews everywhere. It's mid-higher price range, but totally worth it in our opinions.
What I love about it:
1) it's super-easy to install and use, so there's less chance of messing up, which is apparently very common with car seats;
2) when we inspected all the car seats at the store, this one seemed to have better padding, etc. than some others;
3)It's super-easy to adjust, which was a HUGE benefit - the button.....

I love this car seat. I really do.
Good things:
1. Super comfy. My little one is super cozy in here. I have gone to the store and squeezed all the car seat cushions to see which was softest (lame, i know) and this one was by far the softest.
2. The infant insert was excellent. While she only needed it for a few months, it really made a big car seat more manageable.
3. Easy to clean. I love that this color doesn't stain.
4. Great locking system. It was so easy to install the base in the car, and....

These are some things use on a daily basis when driving and its saves me a lot of tickets using this device. This device is highly recommended and is worth every penny.

If I had to sum up how I feel about the Escort 9500ix in a just few words, it would be "this detector is absolutely incredible" and leave it and its five star rating at that. But, if I was looking at detectors and see the price of the Escort and read only "this detector is....", it wouldn't sell me, so I'll expand the review (please pardon that the examples I use relate to areas in and around the Twin Cities, but obviously they should apply to anywhere these situations may be encountered)

Why 5 stars? In short...
-Because it warned me of a couple of speed traps a little less than a mile out before...
