The top tubes fit the clamp very easily and once I tightened the clamp it felt completely stable. I like that the clamp has a channel to accomodate any cables without pinching. It was easy to spin the pedals with the bike on the rack. I really can't imagine needing anything more than this for home bike repair. I think that it is a great product at a really good price.
