Pioneer AVH-P4300 Review

Pioneer AVH-P4300 Review - The Modern Tech Gadget Enthusiast!

Pioneer AVH-P4300 Review - If you have been looking online for a new double din, don't hesitate an buy this. The kit comes with everything you need to install it, all you need is the time, patience and the double din kit and harness for your specific stereo.

The stereo offers many perks such as Advanced sound retriever which improves the quality of most songs. Also it has an 8 band EQ. So you can control the smallest details in your music making it sound nice and crisp. Also you can connect an SD card which is located behind the screen which can easily be controlled from the monitor itself. Meaning if you live or leave your car in a surrounding area, in which you don't feel confident. Leaving your iPod, mp3 etc you can just use your SD card. No one walking by can notice an SD card connect.

The stereo also comes with a USB extender. This simply means the extender is connected in the back of the stereo and can be placed to your glove compartment for security reasons. Plus it makes it easier so you won't have cables popping out of your car. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS.

The player is very good, very easy installation, the screen has a good size, and detail is through the USB port does not grab the videos in AVI format must be converted to DivX format to download from the internet, everything else works great, highly recommend it.

Pioneer AVH-P4300 Review Pro's and Cons

Pro's
A versatile touchscreen DVD receiver
-Ipod integration. It gives you almost full control of your ipod on screen. Allows you to scroll through listings or jump to a letter category.
-Custom background. You can load a .jpg to an sd card or usb drive and set it as the background image.
-Aux input. Allows you to hook up your phone or laptop or even a gaming system.
-Input Volume Normalization. Allows you to set the base volume of your different inputs based on the tuner volume. No more blasting speakers when you change inputs!

Con's
The only complaint of Pioneer AVH-P4300 is that it doesn't scroll the song or artist if it's to long to fit on the screen. It will just cut it off. Other than the scrolling if you know what you're doing this is a really easy install just make sure your measurements match up and you don't buy it and it won't fit!

Best unit on the market!, December 2, 2011
By dodgeballs (Central Valley, Cali)
I bought this head unit for my 2003 Yukon XL Denali after the stock navigation unit stopped working. I wanted to keep the factory speakers, amps, subwoofer and steering wheel controls but have a unit with a big screen, that came with good features but allowed plenty of room for expansion, and was priced right. Let me tell you, this is the unit if you're in doubt!
Pros:
- Screen is gorgeous and face is low profile- no ugly buttons, knobs slots or ports
- Sound quality is MUCH improved (even with factory Bose)
....
I'm a photo enthusiast so I was excited about the photo slideshow option, as well as being able to set my own background images. It turns out these functions are quite limited. First, my iphone is my 80% source of music...
